Hand Building 4-week Course

All Levels Course:

This course is a series of four, 2.5 hour classes, on Tuesday night of each week, from 6pm to 8:30pm. You will learn the fundamental principles of working with clay from start to finish to create both functional and sculptural hand built creations to take home at the end of the course. Outside of class time, you will have access to the studio to work on your projects. All materials and tools will be provided by the studio and are included in the cost of the course. 

Specialty Course: Making Faces: Expression and Human Figures in Clay

Creating human figures with hand building ceramic techniques. Interactive discussions and instruction on sculpture, art history, and sociology. A class with Angel Lin. Students will complete one human figure sculpture over the course of 4 weeks. Some previous experience in clay may be helpful, but not required.
